I posted in the gncc section also Hi guys. My 13 yr old wants to do some atv gncc and motocross next season. He's big for a 13 yr old. My question is . I have a chance to purchase a moded out 90 DRR for a decent deal. Would this atv be a good choice for mainly GNCC ? He would be in the super mini class. 12-15 yr olds. I see most of the kids in that class are riding yamahas. What are they riding and how are they making them so fast ? They must be doing somthing right cuz the whole class is mostly yami. Would the drr be competitive with what those kids are riding ? It sure seems like a small atv for a 13 yr old but I'm told I t hauls azz . Any opinions or insight would be greatly appriciated. Last time I raced motocross it was on 3 wheels so I really need some help. ! Thanks.

I think you're on the wrong forum. Not much 4 wheeler love on here. I'd suggest you spend some time with Google

I did some quick research, that's not the right quad for supermini. That'd be a quad for the 90 class. Get a 100 with a manual transmission for supermini

If your boy is a big 13yr old, get him a raptor 250 or 300 ex. Our local race series has a class just for the 13-16 quad riders and they're all on these quads.

But a yz85 would be cheaper!
