Hello people! Im been riding for a couple of years. I started on a KX 125 98' and the switched to a YZ 125 2011. The Yamaha in overall is great but is a extremly tall bike for my heigh. I'm 5'4" (163 cm) and Im thinking to get a new bike. I was thinking to switch to a KXF 250 4 stroke 2012/2013 because it seems the lowest seat height of the market and I want to a bike more easy to ride since I'm not racing atm. It's that right? What is the lower seat height bike available in the market? What bike do you guys recommend?
Thanks!
PS: Sorry for my English. I'm from Argentina.

Trying lowering the bike instead. A heavier 250F isn't going to help just because it's a little closer to the ground

But I remember when I had the old KX the riding position was overall better because since the bike was a bit more small my legs skeeze the seat. And now with the YZ I cant do that since the bike is taller than some of the 450s my legs skeeze the tank witch make its more difficult to ride since is a bit unconfortable. That's why I was thinking on the KXF since even is more heavy the riding position and ground clereance is much better for a short guy like me

You can always cut the seat foam or buy a lowering link so you can reach the ground easier.

I'd say just get whatever bike is comfortable for you then lower it. People do it all the time. They have lowering links and fork kits. Shaving the seat as well.

I raced with a lad last weekend who must be less than 5 foot. He was on a standard yz125. He'd lean it over to the right with him standing to the right hand side of the bike, kick it with his left leg then lean over the other side and knock it into gear with his hand, with his right hand on the clutch. Then jump on as he started moving! He beat me too haha.

You don't need to lower anything after watching him! Although I'm 6'2" with long legs and can stand off the seat both feet on the floor on any mx bike lol.
