At 5'5" your oldest kid is too short for a 125 to be a good first bike. Get him a 100, suspension is easy to fix. And as he gets faster you can make it a 112.
Get the youngest a 85

You can change the linkage on the suspension of the 125 to lower the ride height. You can also shave the seat foam down too. They did it for Ricky when he was on his 125.. When I was 12yrs old and racing 125 Schoolboy I was only 5'5" and I raced a 1998 RM 125 (It was 1998 when I was 12yrs old..)

5'5"? isn't that the size of most supercross riders today?...go for the 125, 85 cc sounds good for the younger one,

13 yr old at that weight , 125 two stroke or 250 four stroke.
A year ago I had a 13yr old that outgrew his supermini and I stressed between the 125 and the 250f. I spoke to both Matt Walker and Kevin Windham at length about my concerns. it did not take long for him to grow several inches and a year later I am glad we went with the 250f
10yr old, 85 or 100 two stroke or a Honda 150R
In my opinion and experience, the four strokes would be easier for them to ride since they are just starting out and probably don't care if it is two stroke or four stroke. The four stroke is smoother with less hit.

Here he is at 13 on an 85, way too big for it. I converted it to a supermini but that did not move the foot pegs.

Here he is a year later on the 250f at barely 14yrs old. He shot up to nearly 6' tall and 175lbs.
He has gotten way more comfortable on the bigger bike sooner than I expected
