New rider, got a bike on my hands.

The KTM isn't a bad choice. If it's the only option you've got - go for it. They're tons of fun.

I don't know what your budget is, but I'm guessing around NOK 30 000,-? There is a lot of bikes out there for that kind of money!

I'd still consider a 250 though, since they're easier to flick around and generally more manageable and won't bite back (as hard as a 450).

Never road the new 350s but raced a 07 250 xcf w with a HT 315 big bore and loved that bike. I think the 350 would be a great choice, get it and come back and keep us posted on how you like it and all. all ive read about the 350 has bee great and have never seen any bad revues at all so It must be a great bike.
