Any API TC, JASO FD or ISO L-EGD rated oil would be the best option. The best ratio will probably be either 42:1 or 50:1 depending on your riding and carb settings. I'd start with 42:1 and if you notice excess oil in the exhaust or the spark plug fouls, try 50:1.

Ok thanks

I used Lucas oil motorcycle oil(I beleive 50w or something like that) at 32:1 bc I read that is what is the best for a 125.

The Lucas you are talking about should be used in the transmission and not mixed with the gasoline. You should be using 2-stroke engine oil labelled as premix mixed in the gasoline.

Try 40:1, 50:1 is crazy lean for a 125.

Far as hard to start cold, is it jetted properly? How many hours on the top end? Spark plug look good?

It has 3 hrs on the top end jetted right as far as I know, but I got it started today the fuel was off that's why it was hard to start
