So im 15 6ft 155 pounds ive ridden quads and atcs my entire life everything from 50s to 500s also had a 50cc dirtbike. But ive always wanted a dirtbike. Ive got 2 wheels down from bmx and mountainbikes. What would be a good bike For me. I wont be racing but may ocasionally be going to a track mainly riding in boreggo. Its alot of washes and hard pack with a little bit of dunes. Im quite budgeted so i will be buying used what are some important things to look for?

Any 4 stroke 250 would be easy to ride. Honda Crf 250r is more on the track side and a Honda Crf 250x is more on the trail side... Find something you can afford, then if you really enjoy the sport you can step up to a better bike that suits what you ride.

Try to find a clean, used Yamaha WR250f,..They're pretty agile, light, mellow, and it has an electric start, as well as a kick start.

I would stick with something like the WR250f too, its a smart move and like Dragoo168 said its not a monster, so you dont have to worry about getting hurt.

they are cheaper and lighter than a two smoker, but they 4 strokes are a smoother ride in my opinion. You dont have to play around with the gears as much on a 4 stroke, but a 2 stroke has raw power. Its just preference.
