Is this a good deal?

Decent deal. Try and get it for $1,250.

That's a $1200 bike here, but $1500 seems fair for Boston.

After you buy it, stop by your local Honda dealer. Order a new piston, get transmission oil, and a new air filter with (imo) biodegradable filter oil and cleaner. The biodegradable stuff is awesome. Oh and premix and a ratio rite.

Now you need gear, you need boots, a helmet, goggles, and gloves at a minimum.

I'd also suggest you buy a spare brake and clutch lever, you will be falling over. Alot.

After you ride it a few times, replace the piston and change the transmission oil. From there on out, do the trans oil every couple rides. Air filter needs cleaned every ride.

FYI, that "stand" isn't worth much of anything. Every bike should come with a triangle stand, new or used.
