Hi, I'm interested in buying a tuner for my 2013 yz450f is it worth it?
Yes. While it doesn't make a night and day difference in the power output, you can tune the ignition and fuel delivery to slightly change the characteristics of the powerband to your tastes. Especially if you buy an exhaust or make any other engine mods. I usually end up going with the 'less hit' or the 'broad powerband' map that MXA has listed.

Mxrose is right, it's a great tool to have and it's easy to operate, I would buy one for sure and you can find them on sale.

Better yet make friends with your local yamaha dealer and see if you can borrow theirs. They might let you on good faith or simply a deposit. North American Warhorse in Dunmore PA is great with doing stuff like this for customers.

I like mine and am a fan of mxa's smooth less hit map
