So, after 6 years out of racing i am looking to get a new bike.
Before i was riding a 250 competitive, now selling the Gsxr and then back to mx but only for fun and maybe an occasional race.
Most people tell me to get a 450, because that is the easyest to ride if only for fun. I am 5,77 and 198lbs and was a C-class rider. Would'nt a 450 be to much to handle?

You are about 20 lbs heavy for a 250f, but that might only hurt your starts on a mx track. I think having a bike with less power will progress you faster than having a bike which intimidates you and hinders you from using it's full power potential. My vote is the 250f for you being a C-rider.

You got a point right there, if its to much to handle it starts to intimidate. Then the fun is also gone.
What about the air forks on the crf250, are they really that bad?

Went to a Honda dealership today, this Honda 450 sure feels small. The height needs to be a little lower, but it feels like a awesome bike to ride. Also went to a Suzuki dealer, this bikes doesn't feel so good. Btw i think i miscalculated on the weight of myself, i weigh about 163lb (74kg)

I haven't messed with air forks. I ride a 2014 yz450f, and it's a great bike! I had the 2007 yz250f a while back, also a good bike. I prefer the spring forks of the Yamaha. I don't know enough about the air fork stuff, but I've heard mixed reviews. I don't have the patience to try them. Lol.
