Take it to your local shop, guarantee the valves have tightened up and they need to be adjusted. Typical problem on crf250s. If the bike sat at all get the carb cleaned as well. Have then run a compression test while they have the valve cover off also. At least then you will know if you need to do a top end.

So ive taking it in i got the carby cleaned because it had been sitting for 2 months or so they also adjusted the valve clearance they noticed that one exhaust is still loose due to lack of shims so im gonna get that done asap could that be possibly causing the less compression in the kick starter aswell ?

The bloke i got it from had a top end rebuild a year and a half ago really hope it doesnt need the top end done otherwise bye bye another 2500 -.-

No problem!

Yes that valve could be causing the compression issue by being open. Hope all they have to do is shim it be good to go.

Good luck with the bike and make sure you ride the hell out of it!

On the 4 strokes like the crf yzf 250s and 450s klotz uplon works miracles on this issue.

Yes its a fuel lube and IT WORKS ! The mechanics behind all the newer 4 strokes valves tightening up is the face of the valves wear and go up in the head , if you keep your air filter clean and keep it oiled and put a few ozs of uplon in your gas it will almost elliminate the problem

Valves not shutting will also not create vacuum nessesary to pull fuel out of the bowl by creating a low pressure area.
