I don't post much about my son Joey anymore on here, it really doesn't have the "family" feel anymore, but this I had to share. Joey got tested at school and is now in the Gifted Program. We are super proud of the little bugger.

My son too was chosen for the gifted program. We had him in it for one year. Although it's great and they push them, we decided not to have him in it anymore. He was missing out on a lot of play time. More importantly, do all Joey's friends know that he is famous on Motodrive? ATV rider of the decade!!!! - |

I don't know If we, as a family, have enjoyed any sport so much as the times we watched our kids in BASEBALL - from T-ball thru college. Good times and good on ya, Alph. Joey's a winner. * Sure you're gonna sight some wacked mini-parents at baseball games, but the hot deranged moms make up for it..... Play BALL ! |

11/7/2009 9:19 AM You must be doing something right with the boy.
Baseball and basketball are great, but golf is something I can enjoy with my boy as long as I can still walk and swing. There's golf scholarships too. Great job Alph! 11/8/2009 4:23 AM My son made the mistake of hitting the honor role last 2 quarters last year. He needs to be challenged whether it's going out and hanging with a local fast kid or in his school work. Now most all his classes are "advanced learning" as they call it here. All A's and a B, funny how kids at school now call him a nerd!!

Rup, thats for sure. I coach my daughter softball team every year and really enjoy the kids but the parents are another story. I had a dad come up to me this year and tell me that it was "Bullshit" that I put his daughter in right field. She missed 2 practices and was late for the game. Plus she was horrible.lol
