Apparently the danny dolanmeister actually has dain bramage.... Who'd uh thunk it. Poor dude just got attacked by pitbulls.. I'm sure if this is true most everyone here is sorry and ment no harm.
Hello Everyone,
This is Brett Dolan, Danny's brother. I came across this forum earlier today and I am hurt that many people here are mocking Danny for the things he says, and the way he says them, when they don't know the full extent of the situation. Danny sustained a severe head injury just over 8 years ago in a street bike accident. I will not go into details in consideration of our family's privacy. It is true that Danny may not say always say the right thing but that really isn't a good reason to ridicule him the way that many people continually do.
As you can tell, Danny loves motocross more than anyone I know of and spends an enormous amount of time on his blog and "product reviews."
So, please, I would appreciate it if we could stop teasing him and just appreciate what he has to offer.

I called this one on the other thread BIG TIME! I was starting to have seconds thoughts on judging him when i started reading more and more on his blog. I wasn't 100% sure , but that is why i started backing off on the "mocking" part. I actually didn't mock him at all really , just mentioned his spelling and Punctuation was a bit harsh. I'd like to say i'm sorry as well to Danny if he got offended by anything i may have wrote. I wish you well Danny , and hope you stick with the MX thing! I too am a vet that has raced on and off up at woodland for +25 years. So from one fellow NW rider to another , i wish you all the best.

Brett, I also apologize, for anything I posted here or we mentioned on Racerhead. Without knowing the situation, we thought he was a newbie doing a poor job of spamming himself. Turns out we were doing a poor job of being respectful to a fellow moto enthusiast, and I am personally sorry for participating.
That said, I wish the best for Danny and the whole Dolan family.

The brunt of the shame isn't even in what was originally posted, but how you'll all apologize and turn face just because you learned something new about the individual. I could be wrong, but I think you guys have been had on this. I did a background search for Brett and there is no Brett Dolan in Vancouver or Woodland (though there was a Danny Dolan from Vancouver), and Danny apparently has no brothers named Brett. He seems to have a wife named Teresa and he does have an address in Woodland, 19** Mead***** Loop, Woodland, WA. Who knows, sometimes these searches are hit and miss (so this could be genuine and Brett may be a relative), but there was no mention of a Brett. If he does have brain damage caused from injury, then I don't think anyone would have purposely made fun of him or his situation so an apology is in good spirit. Best Regards,
