A 1986 Z50 was my first dirtbike when i was 10. Bought it for 500 and sold it for 450. It was the Chromed out edition and it was wouth a lot more than I thought. That little bike was beautiful.

Everything you need to know about this cat is in the tire/wheel/shock combo on the truck.

You can get an chinese clone that like original honda for around 1k , not original honda of course, but they have them with the manual 4spd and 110 motors, with the street legal setup.

"monkey bikes" is a term that I have heard for that old style.

That was the first motorcycle I ever "rode." My dad bought the chrome one from a local shop here for a killer price because they actually couldn't get rid of it. He used to ride me around the yard on the tank when I was a baby. He ended up selling it to some friends that we traveled to the races with and they thrashed it. Never would have guessed how much they are worth now, and he kicks himself for getting rid of it. I'd like to find one someday and give it to him for Christmas.

Tell me about it. My dad was mad enough when I sold the bike for 50 bucks less than he bought it for, I was 12 and had really no clue. A few years later he saw one on ebay for 1800 bucks. By then the guy we sold it to also sold it and we both felt pretty dumb.

I have one for a pit bike since 85 or so,took a cl 90 apart and used the engine in the 50 frame.

Back then you could ride the road at LLs out to her house and up on the hill. We would race them out the flat stretch past campground 3,mine would haul ass.

One day I was sailing down the road were the mx track finish is and the rear tire blew, lol,I wobbled all over then into the ditch, lucky to not skin my ass. Went into Waverly and bought a wheelbarrow tire, mounted it up front and rode on.
