good grief. looks like a full gate of yz's - 1 or 2 ktms?
i dont know anyone of that age bracket, but at our local races its tons of ktms, few yz, and a handfull of rm's.
i figured ktm would be sweeping this class almost like the enduro classes and gncc's?
is the yz platform just that tried and true that they dont care about riding a 6+yr old bike? has to be loosing a few HP to the ktms right?

Lord I wish I had all the money back I have spent trying to make my KTM's feel like my stock YZ's suspension. I could buy a new bike.

does the schoolboy class allow 125cc only or can you run a 144/150?
That's district 20 Houston area.
Maybe Mr. Hughes can correct me since he is the MX King IMO.

And easy accessibility to an abundance of cheap parts. slap a vforce on a stock yz125 and you're solid.

how does the 150 4T stack up in the supermini classes? i guess thats where they have more luck against the 2T?
Back in 2001. When I was 14. Still waiting.

Yamaha has some great support teams this year. Glad to see Yamaha making such a effort.

And btw I own both KTM and Yamaha.....I just believe that the YZ125 is likely the one of the best mx motorcycles ever made (if not the best). Its ability to win races with no real changes since 2007 is a testament on how good the overall package is.
The Yamaha SSS suspension is just awesome and it shines the best on the YZ125 due to the very light weight of the bike. Both my 125 and 250 are dialed but the 125 feels like riding a mountain bike floating on pillows.
Love how EVERYONE jumped the double after the red cross flag was waved...
