Off of the pictures, as long as it is mechanically sound. Id say a solid 1600.(in my area)

Looks like a 2001 to me. I've always heard the 01 was a much better bike and had one of the best motors ever produced.

The only difference I can remember between my '00 and '01 was the '01 had a shitty TMX carb. I threw the '00 PWK on by the end of the first week and sold the '00 with the TMX...

That's a 2001. The 2000 had an all red seat and different graphics.

I guess it really depends what the motor sounds like there's oil coming out of the fork seals and shock. Even if the Forks are leaking, as long as the motor is solid $1,400 is a good deal. $850 - $1,000 is not logical but can't hurt to ask. I did not like that frame though.

That's completely untrue. Owned one, jetted horribly, totally choked up airbox, and zero bottom end, stock. Motor can be made great, 3rd Gen chassis is way better than 00, 01'.
