Lets just say there was no such thing as motocross, what would all the diehards do for fun? basically, what is everyones next favorite sport?

lol.....chasing them isn't as dangerous as catching them.

Already do it boating. As long as there a way to sit between two attached wheels, there will always be moto of some sort.

Practice catch and release........then it all runs together.........
Be sure to use light leaders so they can break the line occasionally. LOL

I have two seasons... sx/mx and college football, they pretty much overlap. Without mx Idk what I would do from January to September. I guess follow NBA and MLB more closely.

Well if the great sport of motocross didnt exist I would have decided to play college basketball. I turned down a few D3 and D2 school offers to play basketball because I dreaded the thought of giving up motocross. Best decision I ever made.

Got into offroad RC car/truck racing this year.. it's sort of like moto but without the steep price tag and risk of missing work for months at a time.

I'm not sure my parents could have afforded to fund it, but I stepped out of a go-kart onto a dirtbike when I was about 6 -- it would have been pretty cool to see where that would have gone. I've always been a giant circle track fan too.

I grew up on the far north coast of New South Wales.... so surfing haha
it actually took over for a while, got sick of hurting myself, moved to Mermaid Beach (just south of the Gold Coast) block and half away from the beach, hot missus

still wasn't enough.. had to get another bike haha

oh and no pics of the hot missus, fuck I wish! this digital age is awesome haha

Serious question, did you ever worry about sharks?

I think it'd be on my mind constantly in an area where I knew they were present. Also enjoy surfing myself when I get the chance, though I'm completely terrible.

Don't know really pretty much gave up every other sport when I started riding, maybe cycling.

oh sometimes yeah but mostly not
I mean when I was out at dusk or dawn (typical feeding time for sharks) I'd be a little more edgy I had a mate that would surf till it was dark that used to freak me out.. there weren't that prevalent around here well there weren't many attacks.. not like bloody Western Australia I'm not sure I'd be surfing much over there haha

One time on a dark stormy day the water seemed black and the surf was big and heavy.. there was a massive school of fish just out past the line up and the fisherman on the wall were warning us about a massive shark feeding on them and everyone was thinking that's cool it's getting feed it's not gonna get us then the school swam under us and everyone was on the beach in about 3 seconds like ten dudes on one wave not getting up just bus driving it straight haha

Another time I was out late one afternoon and a 4ft wide black thing came out of the water at me but it was only a sting ray that seemed as shocked as I was but I have a hard time believing it shit itself as much as I did

Either cycling of some sort (road or downhill) or rowing. I only picked up rowing last September, but years on the bike gave me big thigh muscles, so I can thrash all the other novices... Tongue Kind of a big fish in a small pond deal, but still, winning is winning!

Basketball without a doubt. Once upon a time I had a shot at playing D1, with my alma mater Old Dominion, but I never took it serious.

Now I coach little 5 and 6 graders and teaching them to work hard and never give up often times has me reflecting and wishing I took my own advice.

well since I live in the shittiest part of the country for action sports, all of which I am into, I would say the only ones available that try to do when not on the bike are. wakeboarding/wakeskating, mountain biking/trail riding since there are no mountains here, bmx park/dirt and skateboarding/ cruising. I also make a trip snow boarding whenever I get the chance.

I would like to give downhill mountain biking a try soon.

It has always been a goal of mine to surf and hopefully I can get that done in 2013 as I'll be visiting the West Coast throughout the year.

I don't hunt, fish or follow stick and ball sports so it pretty much sucks for me here in Louisiana for anything other than MX as far as hobbies go.
