I would have to say Forkner's last couple of laps in that 2nd moto when J-mart caught up to him ( and J-mart was hauling ass) he really wicked it up. Even J-mart gave him props in the press conference which i thought was so classy and respectful

That Colt Nichols kid kind of impressed me, along with Ferrandis clicking off 2 secs a lap faster than Osborne and AC was pretty impressive.

Many actually, Ferrandis probably the most, I knew he would be good but I didn't expect him to run away from Osborne and AC that easily

Other than that (partly because I simply have no clue who some of these guys are, now they're suddenly running inside the top10): Taft, Mosiman, Hoeft, Colt Nichols

Tomac. Moto 1 he got faster as everyone else got slower. He's the guy to beat in 450.

Tickle really surprised me as well. During the broadcast, Langston compared him to be a lot like Metty, someone who is always behind "the guys". I think tickle is much like the new Andrew Short or mike laracco. Dude is just one tough hombre. Hopefully he can continue to ride like he did at GH.

Ferrandis for sure, I didn't happen to see beginning of moto two when I originally watched it and I figured some other people got some bad starts for him to have that big of a lead but Osborne was right there and Dylan rode away from him. Very impressive.

and he also ran pretty much the same laptimes as the frontrunners in the second moto without a front brake......at Glen Helen! French Dungey ain't gonna want none the rest of the summer

I'll jump on the Ferrandis wagon, too. It was really surprising when Weege said he had a 20 second lead, I thought for sure Osborne was going to reel him in at the end of the moto and pass him.

Just got a chance to watch the race again from home. I think Jody, MX Sports, and everyone else involved impressed me the most. Best Glen Helen I've seen in a long while. Great, SAFE track that made for some good racing.

Ferrandis... especially considering he isn't a Glen Helen local by a long stretch. That second Moto was impressive.
JMart too...he was one slick spot away from going 1-1 IMO.

Endurance wise: WP32 - Second race back from injury in SX, hanging it out there, racing back into shape, and carding a 5th O/A! Actually, all three RMZ pilots (Tickle, Bogle, and Peick) in the 2nd moto were freight training 4-5-6 at speed...

Sheer speed: JM6 and DF108...Two completely different styles, but such great pace

Watching him ride supercross and moto.....you could see it him that the speed was there,he just had to get the maturity and the stamina....well, here we go....

We had a local kid here at the track a few years ago..... he was young, fast, and dangerously wild to the point that you needed to keep an eye on him even if you were off the track.......I saw the fire in his eyes and commented to the folks making fun of him crashing his brains out all the time, that just as soon as he figures out HOW to go fast......there won't be anyone here able to keep him in sight...he soon moved to the expert class and I will say that even then, he still either crashed or won......no seconds for him. Little bastard had ZERO fear......reminds me of Ferrandis and Anderson.

I have been really impressed too. Nobody this year has been able to be faster than Osborne, even occasionally.

Ferrandis. I have always rated him highly but to win his 4th moto in US with a 20+ second lead wasn't anything that i expected. I thought he would maybe get a moto win in the last couple of rounds but this soon and that dominating? Impressive.

We've all seen that it takes 1-2 years for a rider to get used to the tracks/format when they go from GPs to US racing and vice versa.

I wouldn't say Ferrandis' speed was the most surprising for me as I've watched him race many times and knew he'll be winning soon, but I was just glad for him to be able to get a good start and show how fast he can be.

Hoeft's speed was impressive though, didn't expect that!

Thats surprising to you? I found it more surprising it took him 'so long' to get around. Remember roczen last year he had most of the time starts like this and was up front within a few corners. But anyway for sure eli was still impressive but, to be honest, i expected more
