Can you leave c12 in a jug? It's not oxygenated is it?

Yup, straight T4. This is what KTM off-road runs.

If I was going to go 50/50, I'd use U4.4 & benefit from the oxygen and other chemistry that'll still give you some added performance...even when you're mixing it w/pump.

I think stock you will feel a benefit from 50/50, 110 or C12... Start with the 110 it's considerably less expensive and go from there.

I was running straight 110 and myTMR tuned KX250 ran great, I treated myself to some straight C12 hoping I wouldn't notice a difference.... I was wrong... Midrange was noticeably stronger, dang it it gets expensive but worth it to me!

vp113 is great and leaded so perfect for your 250sx. dealers also sometimes buy it in bulk and costs less than $10 per gallon around here.

If you race, ask around at the track. Maybe someone will sell you one gallon and you can try it.

I run U 4.4 and can tell a difference between that and normal unleaded.

In a plastic jug? In Florida humidity? It will turn milky white with all kinds of floaty trash. Keep it sealed in the metal can until you use it.

I would use C12. If you are going to be running it 50/50 please make sure that you mix it with 100% gas no ethanol.

The cheapest best way to go for the 2 stroke is Avgas, stop by your small airport and they will sell you airplane fuel for about $4 per gallon.

I'd try aviation fuel as well and compare it to one of VP's two-stroke fuels.

I think the big question is why do you want a mix of 50/50? What mods have you done to the engine? Any changes to the Carb since you've had it? There's quite a few variables to consider.

That VP chart looks like a good resource if you want to go that route. I know those 250 SX's run pretty good on pump gas through.

Good Luck.

I freaking love Race gas. IDK why but I've always thought it was cool.

Green C12, Red 110, MMMMHHHHH.

Maybe it was the Ricky Carmichael Playstation game where you bought race gas and started destroying everyone. Laughing

I run C12 in my KTM two stroker. Good stuff and consistent.

Ive never tried t4 in my smoker it works good? I have a modded motor so I probably need u4.4. Would the jetting be finicky? And im not sure if u have any expierence with it but my buddys a vp rep n gives me pretty good deals, I forget which one it was but retail was like $140 for 5 gal, does it help that much? In my 4 strokes I ran u4.4, after trying that I could never go back to pump fuel lol

Do you have to re-jet for AVgas?

And around here (sacramento) getting AVgas has proven to be almost impossible.

Good to know.

Everyone who has talked about AVgas has had nothing but good things to say.

I just hope I can get my hands on some and compare it to the VP I have sitting in my garage.

Avgas is 100 octane Low Lead.

And if you are only paying $4 per gallon of avgas you need to go fill up a tanker truck and resell it. Some places in the country avgas is $8 per gallon.

Also if you plan on going this route, you need to go to a small mom&pop airport. A larger FBO will not sell it to you if they are smart. It's illegal to do so.

Go to a small airport by your house either they will have it or sometimes if there is a drag racing/hop up shop by you they will have it in 55 gallon drums to give you 5

It has been years since I purchased avgas, I use T4 in my kxf450

It's been a while since I've had to buy any avgas... I run Jet-A now and I don't have to pay a dime for it!
