is this, or something like it. would be cool to jettison the mainstay blue and use like a neon, surfer blue. that would be an interesting revamp of their look, at least when the next gen YZ's come out imo.

Maybe if they can strike a sponsorship with Tiffany but I don't think too much of their clientele exists in the motocross world.

except they were white bikes. make the plastic like the blue on the tank. trust me, it would work (and increase sales).

It looks like one of those candy easter eggs to me.

I'll stick with the basic blue, or white/red/black on my YZ's.

jonesaustin wants space-age shit, and he wants it now god damn it. fuel injected wankel rotary engines, electrically assisted zero loss turbos, magnetic suspension with GPS tuning capabilities, ride by wire, and nitrous oxide holeshot assist, and completely new plastic every year. oh, and.... 'bout 75-hunnit.

It looks like Tiffany Blue to me which I know more than I'd like to about. Some people call it teal.

I understand what Jonesaustin is saying but I'm not sure that color is the one.

This doesn't work for me on a MX bike. (Moto GP is another story)
Yamaha should stick with blue. When Febvre ran that livery I thought he had switched to Suzuki.

BTW, is Yamaha the only manufacturer than can't make its mind? Suzuki have been yellow for ever, Honda red, Kawi green. Yamaha? White, yellow, blue. What's next, orange?

I've got 4 or 5 turbo wankels in my garage he is welcome to experiment on..

My grandfather once told me to never trust a woman who liked turquoise jewelry or Indian nick naks.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I like it too, but only as a one-off. Don't think the stock bikes should come in a color like that. That "blue" on the WR, no way. Maybe Jones Austin can customize a bike to his liking like the rest of us instead of criticizing the OEM's. That is if he even has a newer bike or is in the market for one.

Honda is really silver, they turned some red so you might buy them. I like yamaha yellow, its 'original'.
