Commentators, give it A FUCKING break already.
Dungey has already said,he hates that nickname,And yes, they "did" apologize to each other and are not mad at each other.referring to Webb/Bowers.
SX booth is really getting bad in these areas.
And whats going on with the booth guys, having a harder time with rider descriptions on the track? Are they getting worse video in the booth than our tv?Same goes with Jim Holley .Don't recall it being this way some seasons ago.

You don't get to pick your own nickname.

true, but when the commentators continue to say it,and they know Dungey does not like it.Why do they do it.Its a nickname that has not been out long, just cut it out already.

AC was definitely the best one in the booth all night. That kid has a knack for that kind of thing and when he said "lethargic" I just pictured Emig sitting there with a puzzled look on his face wondering what that meant.

If he was from Michigan he could be the "Detroit Diesel" or something that is actually catchy but he isn't and the name diesel is not at all catchy, it is generic.

If I heard correctly ,was it McGrath that started or first put the diesel comment out there?

Emig and Ralph are just fine. And I like it better with no RC, and I am a huge RC fan.

I liked AC's joke about hardly being able to see Webb's sleeves. (Because they were camo)

That's funny. I remember years ago my father giving a friend of my a "permission to date my daughter" application. And some of the questions on it were hilarious. One of my favorites was "Rate your ability to run in a serpentine motion"
Still chuckle about it after all these years.

Ralph screws up rudimentary things, Politelli is 981 NOT 987.

Thats the only annoying thing for me from Ralph. He has done this multiple times with different riders.

I know it's been said before, but they are still doing a great job telling us where the 3rd baseline and home plate are... I really need to know that.
And "Diesel?" I like it...

But the best one I've heard - classic Ralphism here:

"He latched onto his rear,
looking for an opening to squeeze into, and when he found one he pounded his way in and ejaculated hard."

The Diesel is a terrible nickname unless he starts developing chronic fuel injection problems leaving to catastrophic engine failure... Then it will be appropriate.

The diesel is teriible.. should have stuck with "The Dungenator" (since hes always in the dungeon of the top 5)

We need a guy like dick vitale in the booth... To give some legit nicknames and great sayings... Our sport is really missing the dude who says clever witty stuff. Somethibg like (Tyler bowers is riding like a nimble ballerina) or some shit

Detroit Diesel name is not allowed, Detroit Diesel is a 2 cycle engine which would force honda to pull out of racing.

Chad Reed was really good in the telecast last year @ the last round of supercross in vegas. he's not doing much right now...
like to see Chad in the booth, would be great if bubba was racing because they are friends & have a lot in common like they
both live in Florida

I have announced live Supercross in the late 80's and early 90's after I quit racing. Still announce a lot of amateur races today and have announced BMX nationals in the 90's and early 00's. I and can tell you that these guys are doing a great job, even Ralph.

You guys think its that easy, trust me its not.
