Dungey is getting faster n faster every week on that ktm.
Think a win streak is coming.

He looks good man! That little bobble cut his momentum but he looks good. Hard to fuck around with Ze German's starting and first 5 laps efficiency but he looks good!

At this rate, it will take him five weeks to make up a three second gap. He'll catch up to KRoc Daytona. XD

Yep, should be able to make up 3 seconds in a lap or so against one of the best SX riders in the world...

Didn't Carmicheal used to say the series doesn't start until Daytona? Or was it Dallas? Haha

I was stoked to see his riding last night. He made quick passes without taking laps to set them up. His laps times were consistently the fastest & he didn't look out of control doing it. Only thing missing was a start.

I was going to start a thread on this topic. But yea, when he made those two passes early, my son and I looked at each other to confirm what we saw. Riding like that the remainder of the year might reap some nice reward.

It was a great ride, but he needs starts. Roczen only needs a top 5 start to be battling for the lead by lap 3. (And he keeps getting them.) A guy like Dungey needs a top 3 start for the same. He rode away from Tomac, though. so there's that.

Too bad about the missed triple, but how anyone could blame it on Jimmy is well beyond me.

Dungey can win this championship. I think he gets 4 wins and podiums 15 races. Roczen will have a race where he overrides and Tomac will have 3 races where he finishes outside of top 10

He was consistently turning under 94s line in most corners, even without a berm on fresh ground. The bike stuck like glue and looked to turn without effort.

He is fixin' to string together wins.

He rode the best I've seen him ride since MN last year. And he has been getting pretty good starts up until the main last night. It'll come. He's down twelve with 14 rounds and 350 points up for grabs left.

Definitely that FE KTM looks to be the real deal too. Makes me really want on, but I think I'll wait for the '16.

I hope you're right. Between the new bike and if Dungey keeps pulling the trigger that fast, he's going to be camping out in Roczen's head. One race isn't a good sample but he is at least making KRoc fret a bit until next week.

As an RD fan that has lost a bit of confidence the last couple sx seasons... Was pretty pumped to see him looking faster last night than he has in a while. Gonna take a lot to beat Roczen but I'm really hoping someone can beat him and not let him run away w it this year!

nope, his lap times were consistently second fastest. ya know how I know that? because Roczen won the race and they both did twenty laps after starting in the same position.

I have noticed RD seems to be pushing a bit harder. I think he's got a chip on his shoulder from all the people telling him he's not aggressive enough. Watch him get rid of this chip !! Now go kick some ass Dungey.

I am becoming more of a Dungey fan every race! IMHO he is the favorite for the championship! Ton of racing left!

RD's best pass of the night was on Milsaps, loved the aggression from RD! His next best pass was on Reed (made in the exact same section that Trey landed on Reed, and RD passed Reed the exact same way as Trey tried to do). RD was riding really solid, love seeing him do well.

Dungey looks like he's riding with a chip on his shoulder which is awesome. It's just my opinion but I think Ken left because there might of been a clash of egos. Not they they openly didnt get along, just both wanted to be the top dog on their own team. I think it bugs Ryan especially to see Ken beating him so he's got as little fire in his belly.

My thoughts exactly! I think he got tired of dropping like a boat anchor and decided to protect his line through that section after losing the spot to Dungey. I re-watched the race again and leading up to that section against Trey, Reed always took the outside line. The lap prior to the "incident", Trey was following him as he wasn't close enough at that point and Reed went to the outside in that corner. I assume Trey thought Reed would do the same on the next lap, then Reed got sick of losing positions in that turn and decided to protect the inside line. Oh well, shit happens.

You might double check your mathematics.... Consistent is the key word - maybe check the dictionary too.. Roczen got in a couple laps at the beginning, but Dungey was consistently faster.
