I found a SMOKIN' deal on a pair. Any thoughts on them? Who makes them?

I bought a pair because motosport.com was selling them at a great price.

They were actually better than I expected.

Not as much ankle support as Gaerne's SG10 or Alpinestar's Tech 8/10, but they are much lighter than those boots.

Of all the previous boots that I've had, I think they are closest to the Tech 6.

I haven't had them for long, so I can't say much about durability yet.

So far, I'm quite happy with them, considering the price that I paid.

Eddie Cole used to own Answer Racing. He started SIX SIX ONE several years after he sold Answer. Good guy, good company and a good boot.

Where did you find a good deal on them? I've been trying yo find a decent price because I want a pair. I bought a pair of Gaerne SG10's and thet ran too big and I rode in them so I now can't take them back. (dealership went under anyways) But if anyone wants 'em! Email me and shoot me a price, I'll send pictures.

I've had a pair. Good boots. Mine lasted a year and a half before the soles wore through and I am pretty tough on soles.

I got a pair last year for $100. Great buy. I feel they run narrow around the calves. Hard to get a knee/shin pad on and close the boots, other then that they have put up with my torture fine. They are getting replaced this month, soles have become minced meat.
