I haven't bought them but I do think there could be a benefit.... Just haven't pulled the trigger to find out. It appears that he's made the ports taller to allow more flow... so in the "Z" axis if you will the opening is bigger.

Are you looking at a mid valve kit and the base valve kit? It's kinda spendy for both if you are looking in that direction.

I have had good luck with them in my older forks, non dual chamber.... I am having difficulty getting them right on my 06 KX250. The thing that is most advantagous is that if you install yourself you can continue to make adjustments on your own without having to send them in.

Honestly? Save the money and re-valve them yourself. Take the time to learn about it and for sure it will take a few tries to get it right but it is SO MUCH more rewarding to do it yourself. If I can do it, so can you.

There's a massive thread on TT about revalving: http://www.thumpertalk.com/topic/327668-diy-04-450-suspension-re-valve/… It's a little daunting at first but read through it, take notes and it will start to make sense.

Before you do anything, you have to be able to clearly know what is going on with your current set up that you don't like and what you'd like it to do different. If you're not there yet, then don't do jack because it will be a waste of time and money. If you know what you want different, I say learn to re-valve.

So, I purchased some RaceTech gold valves for the mid valve assembly on a 2005 showa spring fork off a CRF250. I compared the piston to the stock piston and the RaceTech one had a little bit less port area for the compression ports but more on the rebound ports. There were also 3 ports on the RaceTech piston for rebound and compression and 4 ports for each on the stock piston. But, after much careful inspection that's not the whole story.

RaceTech provides a different collar that the spring for the mid valve float sits on. That collar is in gold above vs the stock one being silver. Also, the gold collar does away with the small sleeves that the stock compression shims ride on which allow you to adjust float. The short story is the RT collar is a much cleaner design and easier to work with. It's also a much smaller dia... This allows the shims to flex over it vs be stopped by the stock spring collar. Thus, this gold collar is going to help flow more oil... as RT claims.

Here are both piston's and collars on the cartridge rod so you can see the delta. Also, the diameter of the RT rebound shims is a bit smaller than the stock ones. This allows more oil to pass over those shims and get into the compression ports. I will upload a pic of this tomorrow (camera on the phone didn't work... not enough juice). The RT piston also has a larger bleed hole drilled in it vs stock.

So overall I am seeing delta's on the RT assembly that I believe will be positive. I m trying to get the fork to be more compliant over sharp edged stuff and wash board bumps... areas where you would need to flow a lot of oil. I'll have it up and running in a few days and report back.. But, I can tell you that after looking at them they do have some differences from the stock components. Thus far I like what I see.

Logan, I've been hearing nothing but really good feedback lately from our riders on the 4CS stuff. Can you shoot me an email to chris@racetech.com and we can see about getting them better than "OK"?

Chris - I rode a set of 4CS forks with the RaceTech mods this weekend on at 2016 KTM 350 XCF. They worked good.

I know at a privateer level, the guys at the K1 Speed/BWR/SSi team are running them and their bikes work really well. Race Tech has great customer service too and I'm sure will help you get dialed in.

Mike Crow at Race Tech in San Diego did my 2009 KX250f. I love it and highly recommend. I did not know what I was missing.
