If you haven't done so, i'd highly recommend combing through the Matthes archives. You could spend a year in there. So much Epic PulpMX and the Steve Matthes Show interviews are so great too.

A couple of Matthes' "must listen to" podcasts are:

RJ
Glover
Jimmy Holley
Ross Maeda

He's done a lot of really good ones, but these four are the ones that kept me looking at my phone to make sure it wasn't going to end soon.


ETA: To add on to Crisp's post, any DMXS with Nick Wey is pure gold.

Did you mean for the USGP?

I have to admit, I am kind of surprised Matthes hasn't released some kind of short pre-race deal. I would listen to something like that.

I prefer listening to Pulpmx podcast over DMXS but I have to say, the funniest interview I have ever heard was Rick Johnson being interviewed by DMXS. The stories he told about buying his corvette and some little mexican kid with a mullet launching a drop off had me rolling.

I think Lasergate with Tony Alessi has to go down in history as one of the greatest. Regal's dad was also stunning and a must listen. I also listened to Pulp from the start (Moto whatever Podcast) with Lindsey. Those initial awkward podcasts with Watson coming in were amazing - so cringeworthy.

My favorite podcasts, by far, are Matthes' Pulp MX show, race reviews, Fly Moto 60 show and his new Pulp Hockey show with Ray Ferraro. All great stuff!

Just listened to the show featuring Dave Despain driving home from CHI late yesterday and it was very good- some good stuff as I've like Dave from early 80's...also Jim Holley

I believe the podcast count is 550+ !
