hey bros. Ridge and i met up in St.George this last weekend for some epic riding in the Warner Valley and Zions areas. some of you guys may have even tackled this trail before. if you have, right on. if you haven't, get your ass down there and experience some awesome single track.

i uploaded a video to youtube, no fancy editing and music and all that shit, but you bros might enjoy watching it.

the video certainly doesn't do the heights/cliffs/ledges justice.

i'm doing the filming and Ridge is on the CRF.

ps... we're doing the Malcom Smith Soboba Trail Ride this Sunday, if any of you are going to be there stop by and say hello. i'll be getting more video from that one that i'll probably post here or somewhere else or wherever the fuck i decide.

enjoy bros

Thats tough, not really my thing but I enjoyed your video. Views are great, nice weather, fun day with your bro.

The ONE time i rode in rocks like that I came home with a flat spot on my front rim and a few knobs chunked off my rear tire.

Who would have thought a guy needs bark busters to ride between rocks not trees.

Breath in. . . . .Breath out . . . .Laughing

That trail looks awesome though! I bet that would be really killer after a bit of rain, except for the rock sections. I did a bit of single tracking myself over the weekend, not quite as scenic as where you guys were though. Care if I post up the gopro?

Awesome video! If the video doesn't do the heights/cliffs/ledges justice, then you can count me out. It looked pretty knarly to me.

Thanks for sharing Peelout. I love hearing your KTM two stroke and the scenery is beautiful. Love Utah! Will never forget David Bulmer AKA ayearinmx saying of all the places he visited in the US during his 23K mile odyssey in 2008 Bryce and Zion were the most memorable....and that is say a lot.

Cool video and gnarly ride, Peelout!

Hell yeah buddy! You ride in some pretty tough stuff. Utah is a lot cooler than I had pictured in my mind. Especially the spot you posted from your last ride. That place is beautiful. And how balls out is Chris Ridgway doing that tricky shit on one leg? Much respect bro's.

That looks pretty sweet Peelout. You should hit up Johnson Valley while you are down here. This is a pic from my ride up there last weekend.

BAMX, that looks nasty! going up or coming down? either way, boulders the size of volkswagen bugs! we're not the brightest bulbs in the box, but dammit we have a good time of it, right?!

Motoxxx599, thanks man, i just run tubes actually. i was running about 16psi and never had a problem. traction was the shits, but i didn't have to worry about getting a flat

I run ultra-heavy duty tubes with about 12 psi in them...I have had great luck in the desert with that set up.

@Peelout...Going up. I am on the RM 125 picking my way over to the other side. My buddy is going back down. He stuck his knee in a hole and tweeked it. The trail is called Chocolate Thunder and is one frequented in King of the Motos and King of the Hammers. That hill has about 10 of these trails (see link). IMO it is the baddest hill in all of So Cal.

@whiskeythrottle101 All I can say is that sometimes I just want to challenge myself. I never understood why people want to go ride on dirt roads all day at 50

yeah that's what i'm running in Mexico in April. my tubes right now are just the shitters, i'm thinking about switching them out for Soboba, it's a pretty rocky deal too...

Titan, are you running the Rhino Rally this weekend? we did probably 50 combined miles of the course and it was awesome. super fun single track and haul balls 3' deep whoops. i'm not racing it but it should be a fun one.

Yup, I'm leaving tomorrow for the rhino rally...It should be fun. If you did 50 miles you did pretty much the entire race. It's a 50 miles first loop and a 25 mile second loop (the BLM cut the 2nd loop way down).

Talk to me about the sand...how much of it would you estimate? Like half of the 50 miles you rode? (I'm need to prepare myself mentally...sand is my nemesis...lol).
