Last year he was supposedly in a spot to qualify for the night event before his mishap, making the main I doubt though.

I saw the video of him riding he needs to greatly pick up his cornering speed before he has a chance of maybe even making night show, but I guess it was just practcice.

He has a long shot of making the night show. I just hope his bike holds up better then Cowboy Kenny's did when he tried to qualify a few years back. I think Travis was his wrench though. Best of luck Nate.

Kenny made it (I believe) into a heat race and his bike basically broke in half. I think he cased a jump and the bike basically came apart. It was several years ago though so someone might remember better.

Well dont put Nate down, he is a freestyle rider but he is a professional of the sport as a whole, give him a chance. Id like to see him mix it up

I watched Nate ride yesterday out at Lapaglia's and he crashed 3 different times while riding Honestly he's not ready for A1 He had a bad get off last year at A1 and snapped his wrist didn't he?

With Ryno training him I think he will be ready and don't doubt he won't be ready. Im sure Ryno would let him know if he is ready or not. I do think he will make the night show and the main if he gets a good start which would put him in a very small club of fmx riders to ride in a SX main.

He missed a shift before the triple or didn't shift and was in the wrong gear which caused him to short it.

Nate is such a good guy. and awesome to watch on a bike.

I'm sure Nate will do just fine. Who knows if he'll make the main gate or not , but i'm sure he'll try like hell. Kenny Bartram on the other hand , is an extremely talented racer and has been for a long time. If he was to actually train for racing again , he would get on the main gate no problem. He is such a friggin' goof ball though......little crazy to boot.

Pastranas reason for not making it werent due to lack of experience or skill though. He didnt make it due to a bad start and... well who really knows. You cant really compare the two though. I mean TP IS a supercross and outdoor champ.

Yes IMHO I believe he has a decent shot a qualifying. I also think that he needs to pick up his corner speed and it looked like he could have a little more aggression everywhere, especially concerning the jumps. I'm saying all of this full well knowing that I could not even come close to doing any of that 10% as good as what he just did in that video. I'm sure though with Ryno being in his corner that aggression will not be an issue!

I used to fly over his compound in Glendale, AZ all the time. Didn't know it was his at the time though!

And his GLOVES WERE SICK!

I like Nate, but he's not making the main. Dont get me wrong the guy is bad ass on a bike. Just dont under estimate the quality of riders trying to make the mains..........
