Yup. He's racing 250 East Coast for TiLube/StormLake Honda. Per the rules, 250F riders from opposite coasts can race the 450 class aboard their 250Fs. So in this case, Freddy is using the local West rounds to get warmed up for his East Coast 250 SX run.

i know they can race the opposite coast. didnt know about the him riding the smaller bike tho. seems like a good idea to shake the webs off.

why not get a 450 for that tho? to atleast get a chance to make some money?

Josh Greco will be racing his 250 in the 450 east rounds.
Not that big of a disadvantage.
