i hope full chest protectors become mandatory after seeing dean wilsons cut. i know anything can happen and its rare. this plus the burn pics someone posted when they forgot their chest protector. was he wearing knee braces? not sure if that wouldve helped on the back. maybe im getting old and soft or older and wiser but i pictured that cut on the chest or stomach. neck braces are still debatable but front and back protection shouldnt be. now let me have it boysPinch

old and soft....Even with wearing knee braces (which he probably does) that would have happened.

That being said some form of protection should be mandatory, whether it's a roost deflector or a full on plastic style chest protector it should be mandatory.

How often do those sharpened pegs save them from crashing? Don't race dirt bikes if you're not willing to take the risks.

they can wear a chest protector but it doesn't mean an arm or anything else won't get cut. it was a freak accident and part of the risks in motocross.
