On 12/22/12, my wife and son Jacob,flew to Dallas,TX, to spend Christmas with his grandparents,within 10 minutes of arriving he went outside to see the lights on the house,excited,he ran back in,not knowing the glass storm door was shut,he broke the glass and cut his abdomen open,he passed in my arms in the ambulance on the way to Childrens Hospital.Jacob loved dirt bikes ,he had all the toy ones,he would make Supercross tracks on the couch with blankets and pillows,and say,"dad,look at this Justin Barcia whip" . He loved to go to Pir Thursday night moto,eat corn dogs and watch racing

Oh my God man.....I am so sorry to hear about that! That is terrible news. I don't even know what to say. I wish you and your family the best. I never got to meet him but he sounds like he was an awesome kid. With you living out here in the NW I am sure we have roosted a lot of the same dirt.......I hope we can hook up and do some more of that this next spring / summer. My thoughts are you with you and your family buddy. Keep your chin up during times like these is about all I can say. I never lost a son but I lost my 2yr old nephew quite a few years ago and it still hurts. I can only imagine the pain you and your family are going through. Take care of yourself man.

I am so sorry for your loss. I too have 11 and 7 year old daughters, and can't imagine the loss. You will be in my thoughts. God Bless.

My heart goes out to you. My 3 1/2 year old daughter died in a house fire and there is not many days I don't think of her and this happened in 1982. The open wound heals with time, but the scar will always be there.
