Hey. You're alive.

I've read of at least one rider who definitely has their TUE in for a different prescription, and as to any of them, they stand to gain no benefit from such a strike... so... I'm guessing their opinions' are probably gonna run to ones own agenda. Not your's. Not James'.

If there were a time, this would be it. I seriously doubt it will happen. However, a riders union would provide riders the following:

- A say in the rules
- Expedite trial when rule is broken
- Expedite appeals process
- Demand dangerous track obstacles to be modified
- Greater purses

Can we add that only riders get to design the tracks ??? Please ??

Don't know WADA would care much, or USADA about your first 3 points.

Track prep I agree could help, but so could some common sense and a few extra dollars from the promoters.

And purse money is all Feld.

Yes they should all come together,as there is no greater supporter of his fellow riders than JS.

It doesn't take a strike to form a riders union.

Imagine if it had been a French rider that failed a drug test, would any of you care then?

I just want to know what authority WADA,FIM, USADA really have.... What happens if AMA gives the double barrel middle fingers to them and James races.

Does he get arrested?

Can the IRS garnish his wages?

Does Interpol grab him in the middle of the night and throw him in front of the world court?

Does he go to WADA jail?

This just seems like I would have a reaction like when a mall cop or TSA tr to act all authoritative to you and you just laugh at them and say "dude your aren't a real cop so shut up and go away"

This all just seems so silly to me, screw these FIM/WADA guys... Seriously!!!

Why should they strike? I mean WTF, some of you are seriously delusional. Quit responding based on your emotions and f*cking think about it. Every rider knew what was expected of them in terms of disclosure. If you want to get pissed, then find the person within the Stewart camp that decided they were above the rules. Be pissed that motocross has evolved to the point in which it holds its athletes (competing in the most physically demanding sport in the world) accountable for doping. Damn. As far as the punishment goes, there were precedents already set. Is it extreme? Of course. I think a lot of you were thinking we were going to get another "fuel gate" ruling. I thought that was bullshit too, but this is an entire different animal. Outside entities with no political agenda were at the helm, so no favorites were played.

James (or someone within his camp) either f*cked up, or tried to circumvent the rules, either way, he violated them. And now he's paying the price. Just think about it: Had he filed a TUE when he was told to disclose, we would not be having this conversation right now. Sorry, get the hell over it.

I'd rather see them come together for something like purse money, safety, etc.

If they were given the same punishment? Absolutely I would.
