I thought he would be solid but he did better than I expected him to, he was fantastic in the MX2/MX3 race!

Hope he comes over for GP season or two eventually, he'd get heaps of support.

He had a good race but a race worthy of this thread? Good starts. Solid results.

He's on one of the best American teams in 2015 - Red Bull KTM

Starts played a big part, and yet the guy didnt set the AMA MX series alight....interesting...sometimes too much can be read into one off races rather than a series/championship

Deano rode great! Fast and calm, GB were looking great for a while but for a chain!

For me he has proven plenty times he's got the speed, and he's been really good on the 450. He just needs to stay healthy. No more injuries now Deano!

I agree, awesome ride.

In my opinion it seems to go along with the "head case" theory. No doubt he can roll when he's feeling it. Problem is how often he's "feeling it" or better yet, how often he isn't....

Yeah I think he needs that time so he can build momentum and shake the arm pump thing... JT mentioned Deano said Qualies and first moto Deano pumped up... but he looked better than he has in ages doing it. Love watching him ride, big fan!

He did great! With his limited history on a 450, and seeing him fade a bit in those past races on one, I was very impressed with his finishes.
I think he'll have a great 2015, if he likes the KTM that is.

Dean had a great race. Just like he should have.

Dean was brilliant! Much much better than I expected. So gutted that his (and the whole teams) efforts weren't fully rewarded. Still, as with Tommy, Dean has to feel awfully pleased with his riding.

I'm putting him in the same class as Josh Grant. Both are fast and can win, and both always seem to do just enough to keep a ride, but can either one of them be consistent enough to be in the hunt for a 450 championship? It's hard to say yes right now.

Wilson killed it in Latvia. Glad to see him getting back on form. His style is so fun to watch, especially when he's feeling good.

People forget so quickly how good he can be. He wrapped up his outdoor championship against the likes of Tomac, Barcia and Baggett with a round to spare.

He's always been good, this is not a shock to me atleast. He had a rough transition to 450's given his first team folded before turning a wheel, then a few injuries. I think dropping to the lites bike again pressured him into thinking he was the big dog and had to go out and wipe the floor with the new guys and that's a big burden. Decoster thinks he's got it, Reed thinks he's got it, Payton thought he had it those guys aren't dummies. He'll be good next year. Im stamping it!!

he has had tons of support over here. once he gets over the injuries and is mentally strong again he will be fine but hes been struggling the last 2 years. funny he didn't sound as excited as he should I thought for how his weekend went when you heard his interview

I was expecting Deano to be up there at the start and then to fade like he did at Daytona, but man he was on it! Too bad that he didn't show this kind of championship-speed earlier this year.

i will admit when i was watching the highlights this morning (i didn't see the race) i was very surprised about Dean's results.

i would say i feel bad for team GB for not being able to keep the podium spot, but most of the guys posting here that are from GB are being cunts about USA taking 3rd...

anyway, badass Deano!
