Give it time and hopefully it will get better with lots of gate drops. My son went through a 3 year stretch where he broke a tib/fib and his femur twice. He still races but he is still trying to return to a level he was at 5+ years ago and it's not because his skill on a bike disappeared.

get the purple power band.

the stock yellow power band is good but can be a bit snappy for a novice motorcrossers

Train and get in the best shape you can and keep racing, your confidence will come back and the results will improve.
But most important is to have FUN
