Looks like a CanAm. BTW, this was long after the Husky tank bolt saga.

Bobby name them all - help me out.

I got this pic from the same place, #16 George McNamara (the guy who owns a ton of great nor-cal mx pic's). No Can-Am, McNamare raced one the next year ?

I love this picture for so many reasons. Danny Turner with the hole-shot on an SWM - what a bad ass ! Does not need no stinking face guard because he's going to get the hole-shot and run away from everyone.

Eric McKenna #192 - Euro-Cycles (yes!), I think that backgrounds still at the shop. Is that Jim Fisk #14 ? Jerome Hieberger (#496?) and Dean Wiggins sneaking up the inside.

Bitchen Bob !

Danny's still in Sacramento area, drives a cement mixer/transfer truck.

Notice the relaxed style of 686. That dude knows he's gonna be in the lead in two laps...no worries mates. Wink

Expert/ Pro class? Is that like the C/B class today? I do find it odd that back then, racers aspired to be in the top class. Hard to find bragging rights in the C class.

I have this Bad Ass Pic as wallpaper and look at it every time I log on.....Always thought that it was E Street 75 or 76.
Danny Turner looking like himself...Good raceface....Then Eric McKenna getting traction. 686 looks a lot like Darryl Schults..
Correct me if I´m wrong.

1978, pretty sure it's e-street Marysville. Full gates in 250 experts back then.
Yeah were Andy Medin, good mind there, where are you Andy.
I think 686 is Steve Cofee - Sac. rider. Randy Pockrandt's not in this pic.
Dean Wiggins on the inside Petaluma Honda jersey.
True Newmann, back then everyone wanted to be in the top class to race localy with Danny Turner, Cantaloupe, sometimes Shultz and Magoo.
Serious competition in nor-cal back then for AMA Blue-plate championship points. Bobby won that 1979 ?

OK #686 looking smooth - it's either, Tad Gumbman, Unkown Jerome, Kenny Sissler or Parry Klassen. Your legs were too short for it to be you BobbyM....although one was a hell of a lot longer back on that day.

Yup.. won it the only time I tried to win it. That was part of the deal with maico west. Win it then go on the nats with some decent support.
