I moved houses and had an unfortunate accident when my bikes got tipped over and fell.. one was ok and the other took the impact landing on a rock in the planter next to the driveway and put a big ugly ass hole in the header pipe. Plus my silencer's packing is gone. Blink

I would just say fuggit and go get an 09, but I will keep riding mine until 2010.

I think I'm going to order an MRD. The stocker bent like butter, Our next selection had good performance but fell apart.

Just remember that Dave custom builds his pipes to order and he generally has about 2 week backlog. They are worth the wait.

Rocket has retail pricing under the majors ($449) and if you PM me I'll make you a great deal. The performance, quality and fit is second to none.

Rocket Exhaust also has the worst customer support in the world. I ordered a replacement exhaust tip on their website (it said it was in stock) on March 31st. After repeated calls and emails, Don finally said he would send one June 1st, but I still do not have it and I just bought a stock exhaust. Now I am out $40 plus the cost of a used stock exhaust.

Spend your money on an exhaust system with at least some support. Sorry Don, but that is unacceptable...

If you want to deal with a company that doesn't pay their suppliers Big Gun Exhaust is a perfect choice.

The owe one company that was making their pipes over 300K plus owe their other suppliers money.

I'd go with a Dr D stainless steel exhaust, good customer support too!

1) Usually don't come with a spark arrestor
2) Most are riveted which makes repacking extremely difficult. MXA did an article two years go where they repacked their stock KX250F muffler and picked up 1.9 HP between 7 and 8K plus gained foot pound of torque across the power band.
3) Upgrading to an aftermarket exhaust is one of the least expensive motor modifications out there.

Jardine gets a vote from me too!

I have the RT99 on my '08 YZ250f and it woke it up quite a bit. Very happy with it.

You can get a name brand, complete exhaust set, for about $400 at any shop or online hot spot. Oh wait, no one rides 2-strokes anymore? my bad...

Had a Two Brothers on my 05 Honda for awhile. It really pulled mid-up... forever. Fragile headpipe, went through 2. Well made can.
