He ran away from Aranda with a tale between his legs.

Now he knows how Pourcel felt when the whole crowd booed him, the only difference is - Pourcel had no idea what it was for.

The last few rounds of the 2010 nationals when he was fighting with Canard for the title. It was especially bad at steel City and Canard on the podium told the crowd to cut it out.

Barcia is one of those guy's that always seems to find trouble where ever he is. It really doesn't matter if he's right or wrong, the consequences are the same. It's my understanding that he was escorted out of the stadium because the French fan's were very upset.

Maybe Barcia needs to take heed, and make a few changes in how he conducts himself on the track. The AMA isn't at Bercy to protect his slam bam get the fuck out my way style.

BTW: How many of you here practice what you preach. Do you go all demolition derby every weekend when you race?

When I raced I tried to apply the 'golden rule.' If it was apparent that someone was trying to clean me out I'd have no problem returning the favor. For the most part I'd try very hard to avoid making contact - unless it was a 'dash-for-cash;' in that case I'd take anyone out who stood in my way of taking home a few Benjamins. However, a clean block-pass can turn into a take out very quickly if the rider in front doesn't feel that he's being set up. What people fail to realize is that often times the rider hitting the ground is just as responsible as the rider making the pass.

This is a totally different level of racing. These guys need to be able to count on each other in very high speed tight situations.

Barcia came into this level slamming anyone, and everyone. He didn't have to, because he's fast, and loaded with talent. I am really surprised that some veteran back of the pack guy hasn't beat the living shit out of him.

Please review my comment about practicing what you preach. You sit behind a computer and talk like racing is all about taking people out. When was the last time you took someone out, or what did you do when someone took you out?

Internet motoboards bring out all kinds of bad asses.

BTW: The speeds these guys carry is beyond the understanding of most, which complicates this issue even more.

The only thing that these riders can count on is that if they leave the door open, someone is going to let themselves in.

ok, think about it, Aranda took him out last night in the first corner than today he cut over on him on a jump. It seems Aranda was the one doing the dirty work and than Barcia tried to pay him back.

Not saying what Barcia did was right but in that kind of atmosphere , that is what the fans want to see.

I would not put Barcia in the J law category like you are.

I'm not a professional nor do I get paid to win I get paid to work on monday. I'm tired of the pussification of everything. Be nice, don't speak ill of anyone, don't hurt anyones feelings. I did have to laugh at Barcia afraid the French would attack.....really ,they'll probably switch sides in this battle before it's over. Keep slamming Bam Bam just don't apologize. Think the words I'm sorry Mr Howerton ever entered the Hurricane's mind?

Yes, but that's racing.

These guys need to be able to count on each other in tight areas at very high rates of speed. This slam bam pin ball stuff doesn't go over so well.

I agree these guy's need to rely on each other for safety.

But I disagree that Barcia should be blamed .....no incident has anything to do with a previous racing incident.

Count on each other? They are competitors. Maybe they should be forced to install turn signals break lights and maybe a back up camera. Then we can watch a orchestrated parade around the track with mandated safe passing zones. After signaling the leader you may pass with care. Then procede to the podium circle jerk where everything is super and all the riders are wonderful.................

You are making a great case....for something. I commend you for at least being committed to your thoughts, as misguided as they may be. I have said a thousand times, a RACE is where you race each other passing back and forth battling. I don't know what to call it when you slam into each other knocking each other down. When a guy is on the ground, the race is over between the two. The BEST race ever involved no knocking anyone down, the WORST race ever involved lots of it. Look at the season we just had between the Ryans.......without a single knockdown. I guess it would have been better if at least once one or the other slammed into the other guy and smashed his radiator causing a DNF? Yeah that is REAL racing. Both Ryan's commented on how good it is to be able to race with someone you can trust (i.e. count on) to not come over on you or take you out. When that exists, you end up with the best racing.

Like Barcia and the Moon, stars always rise in the east and set in the west, taking the whole night to triple jump the sky if they pass overhead.
