After looking again - Maybe it's a dealer bike, and the dealer had those graphics already?

Notice no numbers etc on the bike - this is what gives me that assumption.

Wouldn't surprise me in the least if Chad had some involvement here in playing guessing games with the media a bit. Axel gets to put on Shift gear, sit on a prop TwoTwo bike and the shot is taken. I'm pretty sure the bike never made it over the gate.

Just a little bit of info to throw in there. Axel was already sponsored by Fox/Shift and Monster. (Just for those who didn't already know his previous set up)

Also, he previously had someone buying his bikes, motors, etc, that is no longer involved. My guess is when he switched brands, they wanted to go with a setup that resembled a team that monster is involved in and matched his setup well.

Also for those who didn't already know, Ash Hodges (aka Dirt Shark) from Monster is his older brother.

Still no answer for all the TwoTwo kits on the bikes. It definitely is meant to get some attention...not that Chad Reed has ever fished for any of that.

Had I ever watched a dirt shark video I probably would have known that. I am a little surprised that something Monster Energy conceived from the beginning has been passed off as any type of journalism for this long. But then again they have convinced the world that there is value to their product to the point of billions of dollars a year. I bet the cigarette companies are pissed.

Axel is not TwoTwo caliber, in my opinion. He's a very stylish rider, but if you based his exposure off of results, he wouldn't show up anywhere.

Ive seen him ride at Pala a lot and other places plenty of times. If anyone is doubting his level of talent, you shouldnt. Hes definitely no slouch.
