Yea, A3 is going to either be huge or a ghost town.. kinda brutal, my pops said the crowd hasn't looked that's shallow since the early 80s when he first went there. I've been going since 1990.(well 95, that I can remember lol). don't ever recall it being this shallow.

I took pics for this thread

It was bearable to walk through the pits. It was strangled empty between first and second qualifiers. I walked right up to Hansen and the BTO team of Short and Brayton. No lines

Ticket prices are a big problem, especially if you're aiming to get families.

I used to Pay $46.00 for Club level front row. I bought ten tix to each Anaheim round untill they went to $100 bucks. Then I moved up to top level row A until they went to $100 bucks. That was last year. This year they were even more. So we bought $55.00 last row at the very top. Actually it was nice. Very peacful and could see everything. But I miss Club.

I honestly think the factors are tix prices way too high and now they are just pissing people off. No JS. No RV. And a killer TV package.

It will be interesting to see what happens next year. Hard to get people back who have formed a negative opinion.

You can get 40 dollar 500 level seats from Yamaha dealers. Chaparral, Burts, Cucamonga, and John Burr have them for sure. They usually get A through R in a section of 500.

Yes, the Killer Live TV Package is really pissing me off. lol

those three 100s sections by home plate were only filled with people moving seats. They did not sell any tickets in those sections. I have no idea why. I borrowed tickets from people in those sections after I lost ours and needed to get out to the car and then back in. Their seats were in 511

This was not the worst attendance I have seen at A2. In the past few years, the throwback nights have attracted more people for A2

The sport has become a joke, I left after they black flagged Reed. I have never left early at a race before.

I have been to every Anaheim race since the 70's, I will not be going back

Doesn't matter if attendance is off.

the sport is growing because the number of twitter subscribers is up.

supercrossonline.com race recap says that the attendance was over 40,000 last night. LaughingLaughing I know they go by how many tickets were sold, but you telling me that many people didn't show up. Scalpers must have lost their ass last night.

Mis information is a beautiful thing. You can do anything with any information you want to fabricate.
I love the on the track racing but tire of the #whosnext crap also why do all sports try to be linked to pop culture and skew away from the core moto fan/rider/am rider.

Three Anahiem rounds this close togather isnt a good idea going forward also ticket prices can go up and profits can be made until you hit the tipping point where 17,000 seats sold at 80.00 is not as good as 34,000 seats sold at 45.00 a seat.
You just lost possible merchandise revanue from 17,000 people and repeat customers at that.

The whole # instagram twitter crowd sparsly watches these things or rarely attends. But they help the feld folks say we have x amount of followers to help sell commercials etc.

That is like most of the people who put a big fox sticker on thier truck rarely has any bike or atv and usually spends less that 100.00 a year on fox.
Where as someone who spends 500.00 on fox boots usuallt dont put a sticker on thier ride.

#im over the hashtag

For A3, buy the cheapest ticket you can find, and float down to a better empty seating position during the show.

The best seats are in the cheapest ticket areas. You can't see the other side of the track from the floor.

I would assume there were 20,000 people in attendance last night. The place holds 41,000-42,000 because of the taped off seats along the front wall. It was empty everywhere. I doubt half of the seats were filled. The 200 and 300 levels were full, though

Too much focus on California. An event in Denver would fill up Sports Authority field - rain, sun, or snow. 3 events in the same venue in less than 2 months, and attendance is an issue? I'm surprised.
