Pretty amazing the bike made it to the end. Not too many bikes would have held together that long

I continued thinking......It's about to blow !! and it never happened. That also looks great on Husky and KTM's resume.

I thought he said in his interview that it was the valve cover with oil coming out?

You can run these modern four stroke motors for awhile without coolant. Oil on the other hand...

Burely track today. Zacko was flying second moto.

I didnt think the bike was gunna make it either. Nice to see rockstar husky get the ossues they had last year fixed. If i recall correctly , didnt he DNF like 5 of the last 8 motos last year and most of them were mechanicals, if not all of them?

Yes. He said valve cover gasket, and that the bike was covered with oil. He also said that at first he thought it was coolant.

I'll tell you though... those bikes are going WFO it seems more and more. Those mechanics have a stressful job with the 250's

I was impressed as much as anyone but I have to wonder how similar is a stock showroom floor engine internally compared to what's inside that of the #16's factory massaged power plant? Maybe it doesn't matter.

I think the better question is what kind of oil are they using! great advertising for whoever it is.
