Im 6', 160#, 47 years. Old-pro so-cal ability. I would like a 325cc 2-stroke for moto track. Second choice would be about a 400cc 4-stroke. Made that way, stock from factory. You?

I'm 5"10 165. I've always wondered how sweet a modern 175cc 2 stroke MX bike would be, Hop it up to a 200 if need be. I bet it would be super competitive with a 250F.

My 3 hundy is great.
I would however buy a new 360/380 Ktm or Husky 2 stroke if available.
Most of our riding is 5-12 thousand feet during summer so smaller engines get a bit weak.

Plus, a 360/380 would work good for my 137 Timbersled kit. Needing a 500 4 stroke with a turbo just doesnt excite me because if I have to run a turbo, Id rather have it on a 2 stroke.

The Beta 300 RR with oil injection is on my radar for now. If someone drops a simple EFI on one, Ill go that route.
Both would be ideal to me.

I miss my 300. When I made it a moto bike, it was hard to beat on a loamy/sandy track.

at 145lbs I would love a full factory 150SX, with an optional 175 kit for when its extra thick out.

195 lb 5 - 7" 47 years old slow dude

I need a low seat height, light bike I can flick around and feel comfortable on. When I was racing back in the 80's I was under 150 lbs and I was riding comfortably on a 1983 CR125. I wish I could have that feeling again!

I rode a CRF150R big wheel and it was a total blast! If it had more power, travel and stiffer suspension, I would love it. Yeah, I guess I need a chicks bike!

200cc 2 Stroke oil injection, if I didnt have to pre-mix that would be awesome!
200-300cc 4S that is light and flickable with a Rekluse to make it feel like a 2S.

The 2S are more forgiving on jumps and kickers for the less talented...but I love the smooth power and sound of the 4S and no smoke, fouled plugs, or having to pre-mix.

400-450cc carbed 2 stroke with an extremely mellow powerband. Should easily match a 450F in terms of hp and width of powerband with more tq, lower rpms and the corresponding lower intertia, more reliability, lighter weight, etc...

I don't think i'll ever go away from the modern 450.

But i would love to get a EFI 250 2 stroke when KTM starts selling one in a couple of years.

You've quantified perfectly. Here, let me do the math and calculate the bike...
