Just wondering what you think is the best type of jump on a track. It's a tough call, but I think I like step ups the best, not really sure why but they just seem pretty fun, and standard tables are a close second. My least favorite is probably any jump with a blind landing, just because it makes me a bit uncomfortable jumping it the first time. Your thoughts? (Let's see who actually rides here. . .WhistlingCool )

Tables or pretty much any uphill jumps...

I'm a horrible jumper tho, we never had any real jumps when we were kids, was all scrub riding... and then once I went past 6'3" I felt like all my forward and back balance went away!

I really like downhill doubles and step ups, and any jump I can throw some hips, not whips! Woohoo

For me it would have to be step ups. i love just having it pinned and floating up over the top. Also its not that big of deal if you come up short haha

My favorites are the big uphill type double / huckers that give you plenty of time to throw it sideways. Even if you can't "Throw it sideways ".......I love them big 3rd - 4th gear big lofters! Hell yeah!!

Anything with a long downhill landing so if you hit it a little to hard you still have a lot of room. Also a nice seatbounce booter out of a 180.

Before they "watered" down Gravity Cavity at Hardrock that jump was really cool. Especially coming out pinned zooming by the fence up top. Alas though, I never had the balls to hit the Water Tower jump. It was mental Sad

I prefer jumps that you really need technique to jump clean! Rhythm sections and step up or downs are fun when you jump them clean.... After 12 years off I'm getting there again and being the only guy on a 2 stroke makes it even better!!!!

That being said a nice long table is fun too.... Just pin it and hold on!!!!

I like step ups the best like many have said, but I like the ones with a little more booter lip where you are a ways past the apex of the jump before the landing. Most of the "safe" step ups we have at the tracks you are barely coming back down when you get to the landing and I get a little bored with that

Reverse Dragon back Triple,... Ive only experienced it at Comp Edge on the hillside track.. It was so much damn fun... There was practically zero risk of casing and hurting yourself that way... It was risky to overjump though.

My second Favorite Camel Back TableTops

Im a fan of no risk jumps haha WhistlingWhistling

Now would that make it a triple or a quad? hehe

I haven't been too fond of step ups lately.. Table tops on sands tracks have always been my favorite! My current favorite jump is the tabletop at PAX after the big bowl turn.. Straight back and to the right if you are standing on the observation tower.

My favorite jump is anyone I can clear. lol Something about finally getting a jump clean that just feels so good.

I like triple step ups and just the average triple. But I prefer the more rounded ones as opposed to the steeper ones. A little more room for error. Nothing like doubling something for a while then one day, on the way to the track, just throwing all your fucks out the window and being like "You know what, I'm gonna triple that bitch today. I'm tired of singling out." haha

Long, fast downhill doubles are pretty fun, too. Another favorite isn't really a jump, but steep uphills and downhills.

I can think of a few jumps over the years that have been fun.

Downhill to a corkscrew 180 to an uphill kinda booter table.

There was a big single roller but they added a big takeoff about 30 feet in front of it on one side of the track so you could kinda huck over it.

There's a back-to-back table section at Albany to a big blind step down that reminds me of Steel City.

And like someone else said, pretty much anything out of a 180 or a tight corner where you have to really pin it to clear.

Safe jumps, like tables and step-ups.

Theres 2 tracks in the area, Grande Prairie and Dawson Creek, both have wicked step-ups, feels so good to float them. Cool

I've got no problems with big doubles once I've hit them and learned them, its just sacking up to do them the first time.....Blink

Any uphill double, step up, or just a regular table top is my favorite.

Tabletop out of a turn that you have to sit down on and just pin it. Or the step up at club moto is fun too.

Kinda like the floater before horsepower hill.... It has been a while since I have been on the track, but that jump seemed to let you float forever. Unfortunately where Canard broke his femur again.

I used to love the Chuck Sun jump when it was an actual jump. I am with Jeffo, uphill jumps or long (yet safe) tabletops.

I've rode there pretty recently and I wouldn't really call that a floater, it's definitely fun tho. Grab a handful, get a little air time, land and get ready for a brutal ride up the hill!

I never got to jump Chuck Sun :/ I rode over it, but I was a fuckin goon then and couldn't hit it.

I don't like it when my tires leave the ground. I can just about handle an old fashioned drop away. Anything else is just plain scary to me. Yes, I know I'm a squid.

Any jump I feel "smooth" on. I rode bmx for so long that I always wanted to be perfect on landings. Now I get kind of mad when I don't make a clean lap.

The Chuck sun was a great jump! I really dig the big "Road jump " at the top of the newer back section too! Man.....hitting that sucker with some speed.....you float so awesome it's crazy!

Back in 95' hitting the Chuck sun jump 250 INT class........

One of the upper down hills. #47 is Rick Huffman ( Ryan's older brother ) ....in 1999 250 INT gold cup race.
