My stock Honda seat cover is doing the job pretty good I guess , but I was thinking about trying one of the "Humped" seat covers. I looked at a couple from Factory Effex and "One" Ind......are there other brands out there that you know are durable and can hold up?

I'm looking at the FX TC4 humped seat cover for my CRF , but there are a few others that I like the look of as well. Just wanted to get some opinions on which companies make a good durable replacement. I don't want to replace it ever 6 mo.

Stomp Grip... Only one that holds up with my knee braces. You can make a bump seat with some pvc and duct tape.

Well.....that sounds like a good idea , but I don't have the money to surgically replace my spleen and tail bone from resting my ass on some PVC pipe.

Stomp grip? I hadn't heard of these before now. Just checked them out.....look pretty good.

Use an old bar pad and cut it in half instead of pvc pipe. Stand up more and you don't have to worry about your ass resting on anything.Whistling

Yep Torco....I was looking at the same one for the Honda.....that's the TC4 correct?

Revver.....I actually stand up a lot when I ride. But the little time that "I do" actually sit , my Honda seat is giving me a major case of monkey butt.

Besides , I wanted to try a humped seat cover.....OH , and wanted it to match all my new graphics I got for it as well. So far , the FX and One Ind look really good.

Thats what the duct tape is for "Cushion"!! haha thats how I roll, balling on a budget. If you wear knee braces I suggest you stay away from one industries. Sure, they look cool but we would shred those things within 2 motos.

Yeah, I got the TC4 with the hump. It was a little weird having the hump on there at first, but when you get used to it, it's actually nice and it keeps your body in good position in corners and stuff.

Those are pretty slick. Did you pick them up at an indoor swap meet?

HAHA!.....it's all good man! Whatever works ya know? And I know exactly what you are talking about , about the One Ind seat covers......just remembered I had a few years ago , and they only lasted a month or so and started coming apart on me.

I'm leaning towards that FX seat cover like what Torco has. I actually looked at one yesterday that my buddy just bought and that's what sparked my thread here.

Are these covered by your health insurance? I think these would help my posture+massage my back, all while driving. Thats like killing two birds with one stone.

Yeah, I especially like the feature with the booster seat in the middle. Works out well when I pick up little people.

this is what I have too. Great seat but if your a$$ hurts from your stock seat it will be twice as bad from this. Hardest seat I have ever used. My last bike I had a SDG complete seat that I put a fx bump on it myself. Worked really well.

This is the TC4 on my 08 450 SX-F. I really like it! I paid an upholstery shop to put it on....they said it was a BITCH but it came out awesome! I really like the way it saves arm strength during hard acceleration. The area by the knees is of a different material for durability but i haven't had it for very long.

I just picked up my seat today from SDG and it came out amazing, If anyone else has a 450x with a broken seat (everyone that owns one most likely does) these guys do an amazing job for a decent price. I have owned a few SDG covers in the past and they held up very well in my opinion

I've had good results with using SDG products before with respect to quality, durability, and looks. just my $0.02.
