Your Favorite Riding Area!

Edited Date/Time 4/18/2015 12:48pm
I want to see your guys his favorite riding area! I'm not talking about tracks. I want to see hills, woods, deserts, dunes, or anything else! Let's see those pictures.

Mine is Bundy Canyon after a good rain. I've seen Ivan Ramirez, Colton Haaker, Tommy Weeck, Nick Wey, and Tyler Villopoto out here. But of course I'm biased because it's my backyard.

Mine by far is Bean Canyon, Hanna's parents owned alot of property out there as well and it was fun riding on whats left of an old track he used to practice on back in the day. A little landmark that still brings a smile to my face is smiling rock on the way to where we would camp there when doing over nighters.

The loop is always fun, riding up Whites Trail and then eventually coming down through the woods to the watering hole. Stickers and chachkies left from riders of old left there.

Without a doubt, riding the Pine Barrons in South New Jersey and mostly prior to 2000....some of the best times of my riding life were spent in that garbage strewn wasteland!

Georgetown Ca .... best riding on a dual purpose ... ride to Loon Lake then over the rest of the Rubicon then drop out by Homewood on Tahoe.

Well at least you used to be able to ... you could leave Foresthill Ca (ride by Magoo's mom and dads place) then down past Oxbow and go out and get lost, eventually popping out exactly where you knew you weren't. Fun times.

Oh so that was you guys. I made all those rut tracks except the one closest to loma Linda. And I came back this week and it look like a bunch of people rode on it. That must've been you guys!

Are those photos from north or south of Bundy? I live at the Farm and don't recognize those spots!

It's the side everyone rides. I was just riding by cornerstone if you know where that is. And some of those pictures are from south of Bundy. But I usually always ride on the north side though.

This one was a freshy we made, pretty close to the freeway. Most of mine are the ones near the farm.

We just rode Millville South Jersey today. Not no where near the amount of people ride there, but it's still all the same.

I wish I had some ground level pics handy but I dug this up a while back. The fabled Palm Ave just south of San Diego. Many a factory team went here to practice. Over 1000 acres I believe. Never an official riding area but it was private property and until they sold it to developers, it was always open. On the photo without the Google Earth address stamps, just to the right of center, there ridge between the canyons where all of the teams parked and practiced. The only team rig I saw there was Honda (with Roger DeCoster and Mitch Payton were testing with Rick Johnson) but on any given day you could see members of Team Honda, Kawi, Suzuki and KTM. Never saw much of any Yamaha guys.

JT Racing was on the back road into the place.

For numerous years, several people, including Marty Smith, tried to open an ORV park just to the east of here but it never happened.

Such a shame that it became a Walmart and housing developments. You can still see remnants of some tracks. Ironically, there is now a truck racing track also on the road, across from a water park.
