You remember when four strokes ruled the world (the first time)

Your top of the line current model year race bike cost less than what the top of the line helmet and goggles do today.

Well I'm officially 32 as of an hour ago. While that isn't "old" it's older than the noticed elapsed time says I should be...

Had Azonic bars for your bike.
(Damn things could withstand a nuclear blast)

Have motoXXX cd's from the first go round. The

Met Ricky Carmichael when he rode 125s.

Started riding before "scrubbing" and damn near killed yourself trying to learn after already set in your ways. Still can only boner scrub walls and singles.

Took a break from riding because job, wife, kids. Dumbest thing I ever did.

The scar on your knee is over 13 years ago from a god awful crash and still can't feel anything near it.

Your back and knees ache after a three hour harescramble.

Putting... No. Squeezing on MX gear from years ago.

Smelling premix and remebering how motocross used to be. (Although I'm a self admitted four stroke lover, nothing smells better than premix).

Met iron mike larocco and talked to him in the pits before a race he was racing for 30 minutes. Don't hurt me mike I'm not saying you're old, I am.

I really , really wanted the gold DG head and swingarm! And the YZ to go along with it!

Learned my trade of riding on my dad's 1969' Kawasaki 238 scrambler because I blew up my 1975 XR75 and he couldn't afford another bike for me. Rode that thing for the next 3yrs strait!

Mis-timed compression release when you're 12yrs old and 110lbs........it hurts!

I remember my dad's Suzuki 250 Savage.
If it didn't start you may be limping for a couple of weeks.
As a kid, It was always a bit scary to start that thing. But I needed to ride!

When you knew what DOT Motorcycles stands for?
11/24/2015 1:21am
When you thought PRO-LINK...UNI-TRAK..FULL-FLOATER and MONO-X were the coolest looking stickers put on a swingarm.

When next years bikes were water cooled and you thought that was the most high tech thing ever.

When Rock music ruled the tracks.

When you put 30w motor oil in your Thermal Flow shocks and they actually worked better. When you could race in blue jeans, a red sweat shirt, garden gloves and work boots and nobody would laugh at you. At least to your face.

You made your own HRC stickers with mac tac and a razor knife, rather than buying some perfect decal kit off the internet! Speaking of the internet, you walked 2 hrs to the 'convenience' store on a Saturday on the off chance that there might be a new issue of MXA on the stand because you were so bloody bored and had a serious craving for moto news and wondered who won Gatorback 2 months ago. Kids these days will never, ever know how that felt or do that 4 hr walk. Not sure if that's right or wrong but they will never experience that ever.

Tonynz- Are those MXL's? Had a pair for a couple months. Actually wore them around the house in the winter hoping I could "break them in". Worst things ever. Sold them to a snowmobiler.
