..tough when at least one of the past champions or current champion wont make the podium at every stop of the tour!
It's not like any of them is past there best or anything and when trey get's up to steam there will be two off the box.
Going to be a really good year with these four champs still on there game. Has to be the toughest year ever to win this thing and a good statment if you manage it. I quess the RV2 fans will say he did it last year and i supose he did in a way.

To win the SX title this year is gonna take consistency; a lot of top-5 and podium finishes w/ a couple of race wins sprinkled in. RV will be fast as hell, but...the talent pool is gonna be deeper than last year IMO. Between RV, RD, JS, CR, TC, and then you have guys like Weimer, Milsaps, Tickle, Brayton, Metcalfe, Hill, Tedesco, Short, Grant, and Alessi in the mix; gonna be a great season. BTW, cause I forgot...You have Windham there as well. Really, really deep 450 class this year.

I agree....super stacked field this year! There are going to be nights when a guy takes a win....and the following week he could struggle and just break into the top 5 - 7th. Consistency will be the key for sure.

I think RV said it really good on the SX preview show when he said " One week everyone will be chasing me , one week everyone will be chasing James , the next Chad and so on".

The fastest guys are not always going to get a good start and that is going to mean a lot when it comes down to the end of the season.

I say...."fight for every single position....every single lap".......because IT WILL count at the very end. Chad lost the championship by what....4 friggin' points last year?
