I need some new plastic for the scooter. What is the best brand of aftermarket Blue Plastic?

They have four colors... Original blue, Yellow, White, and Black.
Then create your own graphics.

Why would you want some like the next guy ?

All I want is some Blue plastic that doesn't get the white marks after it bends. I like being blue and simple and unless someone is sponsoring me I don't run ANY stickers or decals.

Cycra is really good. Ive also had pretty good luck with UFO in the past. All of it will get the dreaded white crease marks if bent far enough.

You can lessen the appearance of the dreaded white marks with a heat gun but be careful. Sometimes that little more you think you need is too much. All plastic will white out at crease/stress points. I like the Acerbis stuff but have not used anything else.

I think acerbis is better than ufo, the ufo stuff I've used fades fast if its in the sun a lot.

X 2 on the heat gun... I used it on my bike, but I will not get the big ones out or at least on mine it wouldn't works great on the small ones. The factory plastic from the dealers is not to bad price wise, and it comes with the metal spacers

I've used Acerbis, UFO, and Cycra over the years. For fenders I've found I like Cycra the best. They seem pretty tough and I haven't got the white crease of death as easy with them.

I also have to say Cycra is the only company I've used that hasn't shipped me pre-twisted plastic soon as I take it out of the package... which is my biggest gripe when it come to plastic companies. The others, for me anyway, seem like a 50/50 when it comes to that and that blows.

I go with OEM.

You can get a kit from any Yamaha dealer (if they take the time to look it up) that includes a set of OEM Fenders, Side Plates and Shrouds.


Service Honda has it for $86.58

Part number: 5XC-W003A-00-00 (assuming it's an 06-09)
