Yea they take there lumps like men alright..he might even take a sword to the gut via his own hands if he keeps to Japanese tradition of failure and dishonoring the company. Im sure in his resignation speach he accepted full responsibility for causing the recession also.

Id like to see the Japanese and American cultures meet half-way where there is some dishonor but not suicide dishonor in doing a poor job. We in America have the attitude that "if we got away with it ,then it was ok to do" attitude.

I'm sure you're right on this. I just can't believe the type of compensation that continues to exist in US Corporations that are now Govt' owned or supported.
