Inspired by the earlier post of worst items you have bought, what about the worst items produced and bought by us on production models? Things like the 23" honda front wheel in what, '79? Or the radiator on the forks from the '83 yamahas. The brake line wrapping all the way around the fork on all but the honda sucked too. What you got?

Suzuki's aren't exactly built tough either, I like suzuki, but ever one I've ever owned has needed more tlc than my honda's or yamaha's

Honda letting the CR250 fade away
Any OEM letting their 250 2st fade away is a piss poor idea in my book.

I know they are just trying to be innovative, but I think Kawi's launch control is just stupid.....

If a ring breaks and it gouges the cylinder it needs to be replated or replaced .

They last alot longer then sleeved cylinders apparently ...

Once in awhile Ill see someone on TT who gets a newer 2-stroke cylinder resleeved .. LULZ

Iron cilinders seizes more often due to bigger expansion (yes they are cheaper to repair...). Nikasil is not a bad idea in my book. Anyways.. worst idea Alu frame in the CR250 97

Yamaha's BASS (Brake Actuated Suspension System). BASS was a cable that connected the rear brake pedal to the shock’s compression damper. When you pressed the rear brake, the compression was decreased to help handle braking bumps. BASS wasn’t popular, and most riders of the era disconnected the cable.

Twin pipe on the honda crf250.

The late model cr125s.

2011+ KTM side panels, stupid designs. Numbers dont fit and they are a pain in the arse to change.
