Well, maybe too soon to talk about one of the biggest MX events in the world, but I was impressed the USA riders rode the Daytona SX, which isn't a typical SX track.
I don't think other countries have so many possible winners at the MXdN.

Italy: Cairoli & Philipaerts. And that's it.
Belgium: Desalle & DeDycker.
Australia: Reed & Metcalfe.
France: Musquin & Pourcel.
Germany: Roczen, Nagl.
Canada: Wilson.
Great Britain: Searle.
The Netherlands: De Reuver, Herlings.
New Zealand: Coppins, Townley.
Portugal: Goncalves.
South Africa: Bradshaw & Rattray.
Spain: Barragan.

These top guys are all more or less similar as the top USA guys.
I probably forgot some, but my point is, Every country lacks at least a very good third rider.

It's still a race, so everything can happen! Maybe a win for Mongolia with Boldbaatar, Broenebileg and Khadbaatar? Who knows........

I think it may be a little more fair if it was EU vs N. America, given the population size and geography,...

The way Ivan Tedesco rode last year in Co. makes me think he's good, but we will see who does it there this year in the nationals, then decide.
Alessi, Grant. There's a few choices.

Paulin won the MX2/MX3 race at this years Nations and Musquin won his class too. With Frossard and both the Pourcel brothers France have 5 or more guys who can win a race. Id have them as favourites already.

Well....AGAIN....the race that "doesn't mean anything" always comes from the guys who DON'T win it! If France , Italy , Bel or any other country won it....we would never hear the end of it! It only "Means nothing" because USA always finds a way to win it no matter what.

Funny how this race became non-important after RC left our sport. Since Stewart doesn't think it's important enough to ride for his country , and then the guys across the pond say it doesn't matter anyways.

Our team USA guys get it in the ass from both sides here......ya just can't win i guess.

The people saying the race didn't mean anything were American's because they (like most of us) didn't think you could pull the win off.

Both Pourcel's are more than capable of running with Villopoto.

A few more here but no they all seem to lack a 3rd big gun, mind you some of the
countries do well i guess considering their size and population,(10 million people live in Belgium,,37 million in Califonia)

Great Britain: Searle,Simpson,Anderson
Belgium: DeSalle,DeDycker,Ramon,Strijbos
France : Musquin,Poucel,Paulin,Frossard,Seb Pourcel
Australia: Reed,Metcalfe,Byrne

USA: Vilopoto,Dungey,Stewart ( IF he does it? )......can't see anyone else taking it !

Just think of all the people who wouldn't be able to post here because we don't post in German. How about a thank you from Europe for our boys fixing it so you didn't have to speak German.
