I'm not sure what the future holds for RV in regards to his involvement in SX/MX, but I'm curious if he would desire, or if Monster would want him to make some guest appearances in the booth during the Monster Energy SX season.

Both RC and McGrath are Monster sponsored athletes and they found their way to the booth, why not RV?

I personally think if he let loose and showed the personality and opinions he has that it would make for some good TV.

I will say no. I don't think RV cares about or even likes the sport much at all, at least on the pro side. Jeremy still loves the sport as a fan and Ricky obviously still wants to be involved so it's different for them. I like RV quite a bit but unless there's a good size paycheck involved I don't see it happening. I could be wrong though or he could change his outlook on the sport now that he is retired. Who knows.

I would be surprised if we didn't see him in the booth at least once or twice.

Well, I just wonder because as miserable and eager as he was reported to be to get away from it all....I seem to be seeing his mug still around a bit.

-Check the other thread here at Vital with the pic he? posted of him and some of his trophees (wearing a Monster hat and DC shoes t-shirt)
-Does interview at greasy spoon with TWMX.(I think he had the Monster hat on)

He sticks around....less pressure to be someone hes not....still collects a paycheck from some sponsors....gives him something to do when its not hunting season...

I think he's just fulfilling his 2015 contractual obligations.

I hope not. I have the utmost respect for RV's skills on two wheels, but his ability to carry a conversation when he's not comfortable isn't exactly his strong suit.

You know, I was surprised, but I thought Kevin was kind of boring. Very professional though.

I liked McGrath a lot. He was able to be critical of riders without sounding dickish and freely gave his opinions.

JG would be good, he seems like he could be a good actual color commentator and giving opinions, there seem to be a struggle with this in today's announcing.

I don't know but if we can get rid of RC that would be great.
