Hope so...
Someday.
Someday.
TM makes less than 2000 units per year globally. TM USA would have to have 400 units of one single model (250f or 450f) to be allowed to homologate them. The only way would be to use the one-time works bike exemption rule.
Even on the amateur level stock TM's are only allowed in the mod classes.
The Shop
don't think so thinkin back on all the 4 stroke one offs back in the day....................think because big 5, or 6 now, want to keep playing field level here.....too much at stake as MX bike sales nowhere near as big anywhere else
like Yamaha but motor is still normal way mounted. Gas tank under seat.
SuperMoto they have just ruled World Championship couple years.. and Enduro they are doing ok.. but MX
they seem to have just too small and not enough money to get top riders.
"The Man" at the 74 Daytona SX on a TM400.
Pit Row
now...it just keeps out small qty bike builders....
200 would be a reasonable number to me.
At least that way, even if the factories decided to build a one-off bike, they would have to be selling 200 of them to the buying public also.
